Development...
Before we were let loose with Appfurnace, we were given a quick tutorial into how it works and its capabilities. After this, we made our first app consisting of two pages of which you can see below.

As you can see, this app is very basic and includes linked pages, an image, text and buttons. This was enough for me to get to know how to use appfurnace to be able to make an application to a set brief.
For our assignment, I decided to make an app for an events company who deal with both private and public events. First of all I had to decide how I wanted the app to work, and decided that it would be best as an information center instead of an alternative to the website. As a result of this decision I had to be selective about what information I used within the app to try and entice party-goes and prospective clients to look at the 'website'. With this in mind, I turned to my sketch book and drew up a concept and scope of what I wanted, this helped speed up the build process.

Below are some images of my working application and if you would like to see it in the flesh, simply download the appfurnace player app and scan the QR code on the right hand side of this text.
As you will see from my final app, it changed slightly from the design to the finished product. This is because when I finished my application and previewed it on my phone, I didn't feel like it was complete. I have since made the relevant changes including extra pages so that the gallery of previous events is better organised and easier to follow.
